בשלב השני יש ללמוד אותה, לבקש לקבל את ״לא״ ואת ה״כן״

ברוב המקרים מקבלים ״לא״ בתנועה סיבובים נגד השעון, וה״כן״בתנוע סיבובית כיוון השעון.

יש לקחת בחשבון שהמטוטלת נותנת רק תשובות בינאריות (כן/לא; חם/קר; רחוק/קרוב וכו') ולכן השאלות לא יכולות להיותמעורפלותמדי ועדיף לעשות סדרות של שאלות החל מהכלליות ביותר ועדהמדויק ביותר.

בסופו של דבר, צריך רק ריכוז, תרגול וסבלנות כדי להגיעלתשובות ספציפיות.
